Considering that one of the larger suggestions from our Winter Retreat was to change the way in which we conduct our monthly meetings. I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on what they think is the best option. Right now the change would make most of our meetings “open forum” style meetings with no official board financial discussion, unless a closed session is requested or needed. Minutes would still be recorded and approved. Committee reports would remain the same. The length of the new meeting style would not exceed 45 minutes, unless discussion on an issue takes us further.
Official board meetings would be conducted quarterly which would include financial reports, etc.
My concern with food for the open forums would be not knowing what the general attendance would be.
